Coming from White Bear Lake, Tom and Kim have known about Pratt Homes for a very long time, so finally owning one was “absolutely a dream come true!”Since this was the third time they had worked with a builder, Kim said they definitely had done their homework before deciding to work with Pratt Homes. With her work for a wholesale tile company, Kim tours houses all the time, but when she and Tom walked into the Marquis model at High Point, they said, “This feels like home.”
Kim said they didn’t make any special requests during the design process. “We didn’t do anything out of the ordinary, and we didn’t have to.”
She loves how the master bedroom opens onto the screened porch. “And the view is spectacular!”
As their new home was going up, Kim said she experienced a family atmosphere while working with the office staff, construction workers and sub contractors.
“I felt like the best in the industry was working on our home,” she said. “Everybody was so welcoming, too. They always greeted us with a ‘hello.’ And the site was always immaculate.”
“We feel just honored to be here.”
