What you can expect…

Lot Reservation

The first step in the exciting process of building your new home with Pratt Homes is reserving your lot. We will walk home sites with you and address any questions iin terms of slope of land, orientation of your home, lot boundaries and more.

Preliminary plans

Meeting with your Pratt Homes salesperson to review your preliminary plans, whether choosing one of our available floorplans or designing a truly custom home.

New Estimate Sheet

You will next complete a New Home Estimate Street which will provide us with primary structural, mechanical and material specifications for us to prepare working drawings and a final estimate to build your new home.

Final Plans and Pricing

Using the information you provide in the New Home Estimate Sheet, we will prepare a complete set of final working plans and drawings along with a final estimate of the cost to build your home.

Financing

With the pricing of your new home complete, your next step will be to secure financing. Your Pratt Homes salesperson can answer questions about financing options and provide the names of lending institutions that we have worked with in the past.

Purchase Agreement

Once your financing has been secured we prepare a purchase agreement which is the legal document creating an agreement between you as a buyer and Pratt Homes as your builder. The signed purchase agreement provides the framework for the building process and sets your new home’s building process in motion. Addendums to the Purchase Agreement will be presented to you monthly to summarize changes, upgrades and revised pricing.
