Pratt Homes and its remodeling division are a Design and Build firm. This means we can work with you on your project from the very beginning. We can draw up preliminary designs, estimate the costs and then move directly into the construction process. If you already have a professional design, our remodeling division will work with that design to produce a proposal with all the specifications necessary to give you a firm price on your project.

How it works
1. Before we even visit your home, we will talk with you over the phone about your vision for the remodeling job, including what you would like to accomplish, special needs, and the type of investment you want to make. At this point, we may be able to give you a “ball park” number on costs, which will help you determine your financing.
2. The next step is to schedule an appointment to meet at your home for a free initial consultation. While in your home, we will further discuss what you want your project to be while inspecting the space. This is also a perfect time to show us any pictures, sketches or magazine clippings you have collected that further detail your ideas.
3. Afterwards, we will provide you with a detailed estimate and give you a call to set up an appointment to discuss it. This meeting can take place in your home or at our Pratt Homes office.
4. Upon your approval of the estimate, we will create a design plan. If you are already working with an architect or other professional designer, we will work with them also.
5. When you approve the design, we will set up a work schedule with you and begin the remodeling.
